Description

From the explosion of wildflowers in the spring, to the clear glacier views in the summer, to the brilliant golden of the larch trees in the autumn, hiking in the Rockies should not be missed and these signature guided hikes are the best way to see the back-country of the Rocky Mountain National Parks.

These small-group guided hikes are led by a certified hiking guide, who's priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting. Each day has a different route, and an average walking time of 3-5 hours.

Hiking Timetable:

  • Hike to Stanley Glacier (Sundays and Thursdays): This moderate trail treats you to views of Stanley Glacier creeping down the side of Mt. Stanley towards the valley bottom.
  • Hike to Larch Valley (Mondays and Saturdays): This moderate trail starts at Moraine Lake and climbs up through the larch trees to the famous Larch Valley and towards Sentinal Pass with views of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake and gigantic Mt. Temple.
  • Hike to Consolation Lakes (Tuesdays): This easy trail begins in the Valley of the Ten Peaks at stunning Moraine Lake and then leisurely continues to Consolation Lakes.
  • Hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers (Wednesdays and Fridays): This moderate trail takes you from Lake Louise to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House and to a viewpoint of of six glaciers feeding into the valley and Lake Louise.
