Start your journey though the villages around Siem Reap and enjoy the freshness and greenery of the remote and undisturbed countryside. Meet friendly locals with their water buffaloes along the way and get a sense of authentic Cambodia's life around the countryside. Visit the local orphanage and school, before stopping by a local fresh market to see the local fruit, vegetable and fresh water fish.
Continue the tour with a visit to a Buddhist monastery and see the way of life for the monks who reside there. Stop at the non-touristic century-old Angkorian temple, Prei Monti. Then, take a break for lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, continue to see other villages far from Siem Reap, then visit one of the pre-Angkorian temples on top of Phnom Bok mountain. Enjoy a refreshing drink before taking a new route back to town.
