What you can expect

Learn to cook dumplings from scratch using local San Francisco ingredients with this hands-on cooking class. Hone your skills so you can recreate dumplings at home, and enjoy your creations as part of a delicious 3-course meal.

Start with a blind tasting of the chef's favourite soya sauce. Then, learn traditional dumpling-making skills: dough kneading, skin rolling, and pleating. Use a family recipe for a mouthwatering pork stuffing, or a delicious tofu-based stuffing.

Once you've created your batch of dumplings, create your very own secret dipping sauce. Enjoy a pork belly braise, a classic Shanghainese dish that highlights the umami of soya sauce using local, organic pork. Finish your meal with a delectable red bean dessert.
