Let us help immerse you in one of Spain's most exciting wine-producing regions accompanied by an English native guide who speaks Spanish with WSET & SWS qualifications.

We’ll accompany you to three wineries that showcase three different winemaking processes in the region. From large commercial & quality production to subterranean ageing areas with barrel tastings and independent winemakers operating from small family caves, we'll show you a little of everything.

We also organise a traditional lunch or a picnic (seasonal) in the vineyards to show you what the local cuisine has to offer.

This is a complete day with approximately 2 hours of travel each way so please plan your evening accordingly to allow for potential traffic delays.

We'll pick you up from your hotel or Airbnb (agreed the night before) before heading to the Ribera del Duero denominación, which takes approximately 2 hours in our minivan.

We'll start with a visit to our first winery, which will focus on a larger, more commercial operation producing wine in volume and offering quality. Here we'll visit some vines before heading to the winery to see and learn about the winemaking process. The tour finishes with a tasting of three wines and accompaniments.

Our second visit will take us to a smaller, family-operated winery. Here we'll do a tasting from the barrel before our formal tasting with local snacks.

Lunch: We organise a traditional lunch including lechazo (suckling lamb) or a picnic between the vines. We confirm full details and share menus ahead of the tour.

To conclude the visits, we'll head to a small village just a few minutes away to meet with an independent winemaker in his traditional family cave to taste a variety of wines in this unique setting.

We'll drive back to our pickup point in Madrid, which usually takes about two hours if the traffic is good.
