Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Former French Concession area and start the highlight tour. Wukang Road is only 1.17 km long. There are 21 outstanding city-level historical buildings and 22 district-level cultural protection relics. Each house and its detail show its stories and history. All of the buildings on the road are in European style, and while walking on Wukang Road you'll get the sense that you have arrived in Europe. Wukang Building is the most famous building on Wukang Road. The building, shaped like a giant vessel, was the most famous English-styled building in Shanghai back in the 1930s. The Wukang Building was designed by Hudec, the well-know architect. Then, we will admire the western-style architectures around Former French Concession area.

A Nice Leisure and Entertainment Place Sinan Road is a famous French-style road in Former French Concession Shanghai. There are about twenty garden houses on both sides of the street that are representative of almost all the residential styles of Shanghai in the early 20th century. Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road)

Nanjing Road is considered to be the 'No. 1 commercial street in China', which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometres, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. We will take the Dangdang sightseeing tram. It's an unforgettable experience to take a ride on the old-style Dangdang tram. On the slow bus, you can see various stores out of the window, old or new, leaving your view one by one. You can also visit the surrounding areas and the thinnest building. You can also visit the thinnest building in Ningbo Road is known as Paper Building(纸片楼). The building was once reported by British Daily Post, stated as perhaps the world's flattest and thinnest building. Standing diagonally in the front of the the building, it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors, not all that thin; it takes the shape of triangular polygon. This novel and strange building still has a large number of residents. At noon, we will enjoy local traditional food for lunch(Vegetarian diet, Beijing Duck and Sichuan Cuisine are available). In the afternoon, we will visit Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Tower.
People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang)

Shanghai People's Square is located at the very centre of Shanghai and is the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. It is a flourishing place for people to look around. Before 1949, the area of Shanghai People’s Square and the People’s Park was used as a famous horse racetrack which was built in 1861, honoured as the ‘No.1 Racetrack in Far East’. Visitors still can find the ruins for the former main building standing at the northeast part of the People’s Square. We can see many scenic spots around people's square, such as the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Shanghai History Museum and Mu'en Church. Then, we will visit Shanghai Museum to learn about profound history and culture.
Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan)

Located in the centre of Shanghai in People's Square, Shanghai Museum is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. Its style and presentation surround visitors with artefacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolises the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land. The museum is divided into eleven galleries and three exhibition halls. The eleven galleries cover most of the major categories of Chinese art: Ancient Bronze, Ancient Ceramics, Paintings, Calligraphy, Ancient Sculpture, Ancient Jade, Coins, Ming and Qing Furniture, Seals, and Minority Nationalities Then, we will transfer to Pudong New Area, walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge and visit Shanghai Tower.

The new landmark of Shanghai, the tallest building in Shanghai with a total height of 632 metres. The 118th floor of the tower has a indoor observation deck which is the world's highest indoor observation deck and called the 'Top of Shanghai Observatory'. Tourists are recommended to visit the exhibition hall on floor B1 first, and then take the express lift to the 118th floor directly within only 55 seconds, its speed can reach 18 metres per second. Here, you have a bird’s-eye view of Shanghai. You will have time to stop and admire the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River on the 119th floor. If the weather is nice enough, we will have a chance to see a spectacular sunset. Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel, Wrap your memories and say good-bye in your hotel.
