What you can expect

Oktoberfest 2025 from September 20 till Oktober 5 in Munich
Meet your guide and take a short walk to the Oktoberfest grounds to immerse yourself in a night of German festivities in Munich. Stop for photos at the entrance and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the world-famous beer festival.

Celebrate Oktoberfest in one of the iconic beer tents, such as the Paulaner or Hofbräu tent, with a reserved table for up to 10 people from 4:00 PM/5:00 PM until 10:30 PM. Enjoy prime seats in the heart of the action, where the atmosphere is at its liveliest, ensuring an unforgettable evening. Your reservation includes vouchers for 2 litres of Oktoberfest beer (or non-alcoholic drinks) and half a roast chicken (with a vegetarian option available).

Oktoberfest is the largest and most famous folk festival in the world. Many first-time visitors often have misconceptions about what to expect. To avoid misunderstandings, have outlined key rules and guidelines for better understanding. Some guests think a table reservation is the same as booking in a regular restaurant, but this is not the case. There are strict rules set by the organisers to ensure safety and smooth operations.

  1. Reservations and Entry into the Tents:
No Entry When Overcrowded: Even with a reservation, you may have to wait if the tent is full. Entry will be temporarily halted for safety reasons.
Punctuality is Important: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your table may be given to other guests. Arriving on time is crucial to keep your reservation.

  2. Conduct Rules in the Beer Tents:
Moderate Alcohol Consumption: Excessive drinking is not tolerated. Misbehavior or aggression will result in removal from the tent, even with a reservation.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the tents and only allowed in designated areas.

  3. Leaving Your Table:
Short Absences: You can leave briefly as long as at least 6 to 7 people remain at the table. If fewer people stay, the server has the right to seat other guests in the vacant spots.

  4. Table Allocation:
According to Oktoberfest rules, each table must seat 10 people. If fewer than 10 people are booked, the remaining spots will be filled with other guests.

  5. Tipping at Oktoberfest:
Service Fee: A service fee of around €1.50 per beer or chicken voucher is added, depending on the tent.
Tipping: It's customary to leave an additional tip of €0.50 per beer or chicken voucher, totaling €2. This encourages better service, as it acknowledges the hard work of the staff.
