Description

Find sweeping views and diverse scenery just a short escape away from Portland on a guided half-day tour. Your journey showcases the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, including Multnomah Falls, Crown Point and Bonneville Dam.

Travel along the Historic Columbia River Highway and experience Portland's premier nature escape. Visit historic Vista House at Crown Point, an observatory 733 feet (223 m) above the Colombia River. Views extend up and down the river from the edge of the steep cliff, one of many scenic lookouts along the way to Multnomah Falls.

One of Oregon's most famous natural attractions, Multnomah Falls towers 611 feet (186 m) tall. The magnitude of the falls is best experienced by walking up to the viewing area, where you can capture the power of nature with a photo while feeling the spray of the falls on your face.

The adventure continues with a stop at Bonneville Dam before returning back to Portland via the river-level road. This scenic route was part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition that explored this area in the early 1800s. Several sites are seen, including the unique shapes of Rooster Rock and Beacon Rock, which were both made famous in the explorers' journals.
