Description

Get a hands-on lesson and make momos (dumplings) with your local host. Learn the art of making this delicious dish, a tradition passed down for generations. Mix the ingredients, steam the dumplings, and then taste your delicious creation.

Discover how to create the classic momo in its original form—a centuries-old tradition. With guidance from your host, start the process by preparing the dough that will be the cover for the filling, such as minced chicken, buffalo, or a vegetarian filling. Begin adding various condiments and sliced vegetables to the minced meat and then mix all the ingredients with your hands.

See why the next step is perhaps the most challenging and fun part, as you fold the momos to prepare them for steaming. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get the shape right, but take care to ensure that the dumpling is sealed properly on all sides, ensuring the flavour stays in. At the end of your class, try the tasty momos you created.
