First up is Cabo Girão, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Dominated by the hilltop chapel of Our Lady of Fatima, the whole area is a postcard in 3D. Red-roofed farms and villages dot the lower slopes, which rise to green-clad peaks all around.
