On this tour, you will enjoy the valuable experience of training your body and mind while learning the basic techniques and spirit of kendo. In addition, if you want high-intensity exercises I can arrange the programme, such as 100 times continuous striking or use of heavy sword.

Activity itinerary

Takeru, the instructor, will give you a short lecture on the Japanese “do” culture including kendo. He will also share how great kendo is. After the workshop, you’ll have a bamboo sword and know the basic kendo movements. In the end you’ll strike instructor’s armour. Upon completing the workshop, please enjoy taking photos with bamboo sword. *Up to 2 people can wear kendo protectors. If you want, please tell me while booking!
