Quebec Aventure Tours 507 Route Prevost Saint-Laurent-de-l'Ile-d'Orleans, QC, G0A 3Z0 By car, get on Highway 40-E / 440-E Take exit 325 (Ile d’Orleans) Cross the island’s bridge and follow QC-368 straight on, on Prevost Street Look for Quebec Aventure Tours, situated at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, on top of the hill, on your left. Please arrive 30 min in advance or phone Quebec Aventure Tours to let them know you'll be late. There is a shuttle bus from the Old Quebec to the Motel Ile d'Orleans. This service is offered by Québec Bus Tours. Please book separately with them and let us know you'll arrive by shuttle bus. The shuttle's schedule is coordinated with our tour's schedule. You'll meet your local tour guide at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the island's bridge.
1- Oh Bio Farm : This farm practices organic and responsible farming. Take advantage of this unique terroir to pick your own strawberries or stock up on organic fruits, sweet corn, maple products, and seasonal vegetables.
2- Village de St laurent ; In Saint-Laurent, maritime and agricultural vocations have always coexisted. In the heart of the village are a marina for boaters, a quay, access to the coast and the maritime park with its old rowing boat. Around it, the cleared land has been cultivated since the 1660’s and still provides vegetables and fruit today, by self-picking or bought directly from producers.
3- Village de St Jean ; On the south shore of Île d’Orléans, Saint-Jean is recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec, notably due to its row of neoclassical houses from the mid-19th century.Saint-Jean, whose motto is “The land and the sea have shaped it”, is today a mainly agricultural territory where dairy farms coexist with fruit and vegetable crops, including potatoes and strawberry.
4- Route du Mitan : We will cross the island through this picturesque and tranquil road. Fields, forests, and spectacular vistas provide plenty of opportunities for beautiful photos.
5- Village of Ste-Famille: It boasts the largest concentration of stone houses dating back to the French Regime. Within its institutional ensemble stand two classified heritage buildings: the 1743 church, distinctive with its three steeples and red roof, as well as the procession chapel.
6-Village of St. Pierre: The northern slope of the island is conducive to the cultivation of grapes, apples, and berries. Numerous agri-food businesses are located there, including vineyards, orchards, cideries, a blackcurrant liquor distillery, pick-your-own berry farms, and more.
7- Return to Motel Île d'Orléans:you may enjoy local beers on the sunny terrace (optional). You'll leave beautiful Ile d'Orleans with long lasting memories of a fun and active day!
All along the way, enjoy the peaceful scenery and views on the St-Lawrence's River. Take plenty of fabulous pictures!
