What you can expect
Embark on a Three Islands Tour in Holbox during a 3.5-hour exploration of the enchanting Yalahau Lagoon and its surrounding natural wonders. This family-friendly experience immerses you in the rich biodiversity of the region, offering a close encounter with pink flamingos, diverse bird species, and a unique turtle nursery.
Surrounded by mangroves, the Yalahau Lagoon is a breathtaking natural paradise that separates Holbox Island from the mainland. Here, the Ojo de Agua invites you to revitalise in its refreshing crystalline water, as travellers have done since ancient Maya times.
Marvel at the lagoon, a thriving habitat for various species, including the spectacular pink flamingos that visit from April to October. Schools of fish and playful dolphins also grace the lagoon's waters. Isla Pájaros, or Morena Island, hosts over 140 bird species, creating a spectacular avian haven. Although walking on Isla Pájaros is prohibited, your boat allows you to approach without disturbing its feathered inhabitants.
The tour concludes at Isla Pasión, a deserted beach adorned with bright pink seashells. From the observation tower, marvel at the lagoon and Holbox, and catch glimpses of the remains of a turtle nursery. Return to Holbox with lasting memories and a camera full of captivating moments.
