Pedra da Gávea is Rio's most famous and sought-after trail, nestled in the Tijuca Forest. With a route boasting incredible views, its difficulty, climbing in Carrasqueira (or rappelling), its immensity and a 360-degree view of the city from an imposing mountain with its 842 metres. I don't recommend it for anyone with physical difficulties. Nowadays, the trail is easier to do, with the greatest care being taken when passing through Carrasqueira, but I assure you that it's super easy to pass either with me or by rappelling, and you'll have the opportunity to conquer this highly desired mountain.
