What you can expect

Take a full-day trip to one of Switzerland’s most attractive Alpine regions—the idyllic Bernese Oberland—and the magnificent Jungfrau Region. Valuable free time allows you to explore 2 famous mountain resorts—Grindelwald, also known as Eiger or Glacier Village, and Interlaken, set between 2 lakes.

From Lucerne you embark on a scenic journey through splendid countryside to Interlaken, the heart of the mountainous Jungfrau Region. After a stop in Interlaken, head to Grindelwald, a lively place perfect for active holidays. Numerous lookout points provide stunning views of the surrounding mountains including the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Enjoy free time and if you like, take a cable car to the terrace of First or ride a trottibike in warmer months. Unescorted, take a train to Interlaken in the early afternoon and browse shops offering regional products like precious jewellery and watches. Or visit Harder Kulm, a mountain overlooking Interlaken, and take a cable car to the top and take in splendid views before you return to Lucerne.
