Overview

Get ready for a unique adventure with our sailing boat trip in the Gulf of Orosei! Departing from Cala Gonone, the itinerary is variable depending on the weather and sea conditions, depending on which the captain will choose the most suitable route.

As soon as you leave the port, you will enjoy the majestic limestone cliffs, which alternative with stretches of forest on the coast. We will pass Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, and continue to Cala Biriola, famous for its pinkish-colored sand. Our first swimming stop will be at Piscine di Venere, where you can enjoy the cool emerald-clear water.

After that, we will resume sailing and head for Cala Mariolu or Cala dei Gabbiani, again depending on weather conditions, and here we will enjoy a longer stop of about two hours. We will not miss the view of the spectacular natural arch of Goloritzé, before heading back towards the port of Cala Gonone.

  • Paid parking spaces are available at a cost of €6 for the entire day both at the port and at viale Colombo 48. Free parking spaces are also available starting in June at the entrance to the village at ''La Poltrona'' restaurant. Every half hour there is a little train or shuttle bus that takes people to the port for 1€. It is recommended to go to the meeting point well in advance because of the scarcity of parking spaces.
  • During shore stops, participants are required to get off the boat for crew organisational issues.
  • It is not allowed to use sun cream on board.

Cala Luna is an inlet carved between cliffs with a dazzling 800-meter 'strip' of fine, golden sand at its centre that plunges into the clear blue-hued sea. Its seabed, shallow in the first few metres, quickly becomes deep, appreciated by snorkelling enthusiasts.
