Meet your instructor at Frontignan Plage, between Sète and Montpellier. With your feet in the water, your instructor will explain the basics of wing surfing. The wing is easy to use and manoeuvrable. Use the wind's pull on the sail to glide across the water and take your first tacks.

Handle the sail, first on land to fully understand the direction of traction, the placement of hands and feet, whether for sailing or for transitions. Then practice on your paddle. Use the practice time to learn how to tack, go upwind, and make your transitions.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to orient yourself and navigate the water. You're now ready to practice wing surfing independently.
