What you can expect

The first stop of the day is Positano, one of the most famous towns on the Amalfi Coast. The maze of small streets that make up the city are a “handmade temple”, full of craft-shops and boutiques selling several embroidered, hand-painted clothes of the “Moda Positano”, as well as made-to-measure leather sandals.

Your second stop will be Amalfi, an ancient maritime republic. According to legend, the birth of the city is attributed to the Pagan demigod Hercules, who buried his beloved Amalfi here on the orders of the Gods. The main Square is “Piazza Duomo”, dominated by the majestic cathedral of Saint Andrea. Its stunning polychrome façade is an iconic symbol of the city, and hosts the Diocesan Museum.

Whilst here, it is also recommended to visit the Paper Museum, where you can see how the “bambagina” comes to light. The last stop will then be Ravello, the gem of the coast. The town is a centre of historic, artistic and architectural and monumental treasures. It owes its existence to Roman aristocratic families, who left their cities during the barbaric invasions and found refuge on the Lattari Mountain. Ravello hosts the famous Villa Rufolo, where Richard Wagner was inspired during the composition of the Parsifal, thanks to the dizzying panorama overlooking the sea. At the conclusion of your tour, you will depart from Ravello to Sorrento, before returning to your hotel.
