Enjoy exploring the Beqaa Valley and tasting a variety of Lebanese wines at 3 different wineries on a private tour.
The first winery visited on this half-day wine tour is Chateau Heritage. Learn about the production of wine by a family that maintains traditional methods while using state of the art technology to create a variety of wines from the grapes of the Beqaa Valley.
Continue on to Chateau St. Thomas which was established in 1990 by Saïd Touma and his family on a hill overlooking the Bekaa valley. The estate is a vineyard that spreads over 65 hectares and also hosts a wine storehouse for fermentation and ageing. Hear about how the Romans once created the Temple of Bacchus, a tribute to the Roman god of wine in this area.
After spending time at Chateau St. Thomas head to a local restaurant for a lunch break. Your tour's final stop will be at Chateau Ksara, the country’s oldest winery, founded in 1857. The winery makes a variety of wines, ranging from red, sweet, dry white, and rosé, and even Arak, the national Lebanese drink.
