What you can expect

If you’re a serious birder or someone who love the challenge of observing birds in their natural habitats don’t miss the opportunity to go off the beaten track and see birds native only to beautiful Costa Rica. The early bird gets the worm! The morning starts at 5:00 am or 5:30 am when we scoop you up at your hotel (Early afternoon tour recomended only in dry season) Your birding experience begins after a short drive to beautiful rural Costa Rica. Away from the main tourist trails, there are many popular places among local bird watchers.

We will provide you with a field guide to track the birds you see throughout the morning. You will find species native only to Costa Rica! Of course we will provide you with our ATX or BTX Swarovski high definition scope. You will have the chance to capture professional quality photos and HD videos of Costa Rica’s unique birds!

Esquipulas is a small country town located 35-45 minutes drive about east of Manuel Antonio, located in the foothills of the Central Pacific at approx 1250 feet above sea level, Esquipulas mountains offer an excellent number of regional endemic species found only in the Southeast of Costa Rica and Western Panama.
