What you can expect

Discover the wonders of Delos, one of Greece's most sacred historical sites, on this fascinating guided tour. See remnants of the temples of Apollo, explore the sanctuary of Artemis, and stroll past the Terrace of the Lions, gaining insight into the isle's striking archaeology and heritage.

Leave modern Mykonos behind to delve deep into Greece's rich history with a visit to the sacred island of Apollo and Artemis—Delos. Board your boat and feel the warm Grecian breeze against your skin before arriving at one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Mediterranean.

Your guide leads the way, taking you to the iconic landmarks of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the remains of the temples of Apollo, Isis, Hera, and the Delians, which was the largest on the island and a classic example of the Doric order.

Head to the ancient theatre, one of the few originally built from marble. With narration from your local guide, learn how its construction began around 314 BC but was abandoned when the Mithridates invaded the island. Now, the grand theatre is undergoing restoration. Admire the 7 scowling guardian lions at the Terrace of the Lions and take memorable photos along the Sacred Way.

Gain further insight into the island's history at the Archaeological Museum of Delos, home to an extensive collection of statues and exhibits excavated on the island.
