Know before you book

  • All participants must read and sign documents about the shark dive and listen to the pre-dive briefing to understand the dive procedures.
  • Only available for certified divers. Proof of dive certification required.Ideally, divers should have a total of at least 30 dives, with 5 or more in the 30m/100ft range. Divers with fewer than 30 dives are required to be supervised during the deep section of the dive.
  • Operates on Mondays, Tuesdays , Thursdays , Fridays & Saturday (morning trips only)
  • Minimum age requirement is 12yrs

What you can expect

This shark dive allows you to experience the breathtaking sight of up to eight species of sharks. In addition, you can also encounter Giant Groupers, Maori Wrasse, Rainbow Runners, Giant Trevally, Java Morays, Eagle Rays and more than 400 species of tropical reef fish. Featuring over fifty world-class dive sites, diving in the Beqa Lagoon caters to all experience levels.

Book your dive and contribute directly to local communities in exchange for their respect and protection of the Shark Reef Marine Reserve, Fiji’s first marine sanctuary dedicated to the research and protection of Sharks in Fiji. This trip allows you great opportunities to video and photograph some of the oceans top predators and over 400 species of fish in a controlled and largely predictable set-up
