Kick your flippers and take in the beauty of the fish and coral reefs through your goggles on this beginner-oriented, 1-tank scuba dive. After an orientation, swim down 6-12 metres (20-40 feet) for an up-close encounter with the Sea of Cortez's underwater world.

Start your adventure with an orientation led by a certified dive instructor, who gives you all the tools you need to navigate safely and comfortably beneath the waves. Test your skills with the diving equipment in shallow water so you gain the confidence to take on a deeper dive.

Climb aboard the dive boat and enjoy water and light refreshments to fuel your exploration. There are multiple beginner-friendly dive sites around the area, including Pelican Rock, the North Wall, and the intriguing waterfall-like Sand Falls. Hop into the water then follow your guide around the delicate underwater ecosystem, marvelling at the beauty just below the surface.

Encounter schools of brightly coloured tropical fish, brilliant coral formations and aquatic creatures like stone fish, octopuses and puffer fish as you drift with the gentle undersea currents on this unforgettable introduction to diving.

Loved the experience and 1:2 ratio of instructors to participants. Shout out to the excellent instructors who made us feel so comfortable under water, especially Armando, Richard, Juan, Cabo and Roger.
