What you can expect

The beaches, brush, and caves of Arikok National Park give you a chance to explore some of the most spectacular scenery that Aruba has to offer. With a park ranger on hand to show you the park's best sights, you get encounters with native wildlife and some amazing views as you discover the real Aruba.

Your guide leads you into the parkland that covers nearly one-fifth of the island, formed by lava and limestone and home to a remarkable range of plant and animal life. At the Visitors' Centre, you can check out an exhibit that showcases information about the park and then you set out on a hike to see the fascinating plants and animals out in the wild.

Keep an eye out for the Aruban burrowing owls and native parakeets that make their home amid these remarkable land formations, and then look for the bats that inhabit caves decorated with native Arawak drawings to get a sense of the natural and human history that lies behind the sights.
