From Anklam, start the journey upriver in a modern, whisper-quiet motor riverboat. From the spacious heated saloon with large panoramic windows, enjoy views of the green riverbanks with a hot cup of coffee and a slice of cake (more drinks are available to purchase at the bar).
Head outdoors to the sun deck for a wide view of the river landscape. Discover the nature park’s rich flora and fauna and pass an old Viking settlement. Around 1,000 Norsemen lived here in the 8th to 10th centuries and traded peacefully with the Slavs on the other bank of the river.
At the end of the boat tour, return back to Anklam.
