Nestled between two major rock formations, the waterfall and dramatic gorge of Canyon Sainte-Anne is a paradise for thrill-seekers and nature-lovers alike. A powerful 243-feet (74-metre) cascade takes centre stage as you explore this gorge via pathways, suspension bridges and cabled walkways.

Take an easy trek from the top to the bottom of a cascading waterfall through the steep gorge formed by the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River. Watch as water thunders down the 1.2 billion-year-old cliffsides. Walk across 3 suspension bridges including one that is up 197 feet in the air and take a vertigo-inducing peek down at the magnificent canyon below.

Make your way along designated walkways, bridges, and paths and stop at scenic lookouts to check out the giant pothole—legend holds that giants cook their meals in it every full moon. Visitors of all ages can put on their puzzle-solving caps, as they explore the forest with the Stone Stories’ Scavenger Hunt.

Soups, sandwiches, desserts, drinks and goodies are available on site. As well, the picnic area will allow you and your family to enjoy a meal in serene and relaxing surroundings before you leave Canyon Sainte-Anne behind.

Great views of the falls and canyon from many different angles, walk on uneven paths and few hanging bridges
