An authentic immersion without artifice!

Just a stone's throw from Montreal, Exporail showcases its impressive railway collection all year round, inviting you to explore a fascinating world that has contributed to Canada's development. Its immersive tunnel, housing over 400 artefacts, welcomes you and takes you back in time. Climb aboard the vehicles open to the public, from the trolley to the passenger car and the legendary steam locomotives. Immerse yourself in the lives of the railway workers and other figures who brought these vehicles to life, such as the teacher who taught in the school car, or the railway employee who lived and worked in the rear car known as the “caboose.”

Enhance your visit with one of the rides on offer by tram, passenger train or even on the model railway. Stroll along the Discovery Trail, and don't forget to visit the impressive gift shop, which will delight adults and children alike.
