What you can expect

Embark on an overnight tour of Busan and discover the magic of this bustling seaport city. It's considered the cultural, educational, and economic epicentre of southeast Korea, and this tour exposes you to some of its most interesting facets.

Day 1:
Meet your guide after breakfast at your hotel and depart Seoul on a comfortable coach. Arrive in Busan and begin your tour with a visit to Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea's largest seafood market, where you have the opportunity to try fresh raw fish.

The Jagalchi Fish Market represents Busan's identity as a world-class seafood destination, and is famous throughout the country. Most of the vendors here are called Jagalchi Ajumma, with ajumma meaning middle-aged or married women.

Your final visit of the day is Yongdusan Park, a popular city landmark that features the 387-foot (118-metre) Busan Tower. The park's 70 different species of trees offer a nice break from the concrete jungle of Korea's second largest city. People of all ages and backgrounds can be found here, taking peaceful strolls and enjoying the surrounding sights.

The day ends with drop-off at your hotel, where you're free to enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening however you wish.

Day 2: After breakfast at your hotel, travel towards the coast of the northeastern portion of Busan to the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, built in 1376 by a Buddhist teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo Dynasty. This popular tourist spot lets you enjoy the rare sight of a temple along a magnificent shoreline—most of the temples in Korea are in the mountains.

Next, head to the UN Memorial Cemetery, a 35-acre (14-hectare) park that was established by the United Nations in 1951 to hold the remains of soldiers from 11 countries. See the Main Gate, Memorial Service Hall, and Dongnae Patriots Monument before driving to Haeundae Beach.

Enjoy a short break at Haeundae, a world-class beach resort marked by its beautiful, sparkling water. The soft sand stretches 1.5 kilometres along the perfectly curved coastline, which culminates in the summer.

After your afternoon at the beach, board your vehicle for the 4.5 - to 5-hour return to Seoul, where you're dropped off at your hotel.
