We were parked in Monument Valley, giving the 550 ponies of our incredible rental car a rest when we realized we hadn’t booked a place to stay for the night. During this road trip we were booking JIT (just in time), which gave us the freedom to modify our course on a whim.
So out came Expedia and we began our search within a 100 mile radius. There were a lot of options to choose from. We pulled over at Mexican Hat for a photo of lightening striking the hillside behind it… just a millisecond off...

Clean and very comfortable hotel in Moab. Location is at one end of town, so you drive 2 or 3 minutes to most restaurants / shops. In reality, virtually all the hotel in the Maob require driving, so this is not a negative.
Nice breakfast, helpful staff and very clean rooms and public spaces.

The hotel was great the pool heater was apparently broken so it was super cold but still refreshing. The staff was great, room and property very clean, and the breakfast was enjoyed by our entire group. Would stay again if in the area.
