Heather’s Tips on Planning the Ultimate Family Road Trip
Do bring carefully chosen snacks. The moment you’re feeling ravenous will be the moment all the roadside stops seem to have disappeared. Pack a small cooler with drinks and have some snacks you’ll be happy to feed the kids with you in the car. Watch for fruit if you’re crossing borders (Driving into the U.S. from Canada for example will mean you have to surrender any fruit on board.) and keep sugary treats to a minimum for everyone’s sanity.
