Everything looked spotless and well maintained! Amazing view and friendly staff!

Probably my favourite hotel in Glasgow. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Double height ceilings and period details give it a real lux feel. The rooms are on the right side of shabby chic but extremely comfortable. Great place to explore the West End from.

The hotel is located close to the downtown train and bus stations, just a short 5-10 minute walk. There are a good selection of restaurants and pubs close by. We chose the king bed room which was more than adequate in terms of its size. We were hoping for something with a view but our room looked directly at a brick wall that was just feet from the window. As an upgraded room, I would expect better than that. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Some room furniture has had better days and may need to be updated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and tidy. The water pressure in bathroom was extremely low, so low that using the hand held shower nozzle there was no water coming out. The hot water was barely warm.

The castle was amazing. They hear attention to detail it phenomenal. They’re honestly wouldn’t be a thing that I could identify to change to make our experience any better.

Our room had a smell in it coming from either the bathroom drainage system or left over from a smelly mop. Otherwise the room was great! When we arrived back from our theatre trip, two of us wanted a coffee in the bar when the other two had a nightcap, only to be told the coffee machine had been cleaned so we couldn’t have coffee. Utterly ridiculous for a city centre hotel looking to attract travellers from all around the globe. The bar was open so I don’t understand this policy.
