Bar workers were incredibly sweet. Any issues were clarified and worked out swiftly with the staff. Great stay!

Property was Beautiful. Only downside was there is no Elevator in the area we stayed which was a pain being on 3rd floor with a baby/carrage etc. My fault for not checking ahead of time but other than that the place was great. Close walking distance to downtown Edgartown. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Great beach, great staff, very comfortable. The only complaint was the coffee machine, which has only decaf, tea, and cocoa. That's not coffee.

I personally would not recommend staying at this hotel. Our room was so small that we couldn’t even fully open our suitcase on the floor. It was very uncomfortable and crammed. For the price, you can find something better. Our friends that we traveled with stayed at The Sydney which is owned by the same group. Their room was double the size, cheaper than ours and in a better location. I feel like we got ripped off staying at The Richard. Due to the nature of the building, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. My partner had to buy earplugs from the convenience store after the first night. It’s important to note that the grounds are not very handicap accessible. There is no elevator and the steps are very narrow. There are also common areas that are only accessible by stairs. They do offer breakfast, which is a nice perk. However, it was very minimal with barely any protein options. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

clean, updated nice decore in the room and common areas. Free Parking and a good location 10 minutes from town all were very positive. the down side : NO Staff! no one to check you in or out, no one to help with anything or make any recommendations. fully self service made it feel very low end unfortunately
