Front desk staff of only one or two were overwhelmed with crush of cruise passengers at check in and out. Need more staff at those times

Wonderful hotel within walking distance of the Markthal.

Very cute and authentic. Rooms are a little old with carpeting and small windows, but very spacious. Excellent breakfast. Great area by the port with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Definitely recommended for the experience!

My mother had a luxury room with kitchenette. We chose the Fletcher specifically for this feature, so she could make tea and have breakfast yogurt. The kitchenette electricity is controlled by a light switch next to the door. There are built in lights that are turned on by the same switch, meaning if the electricity for the fridge is on overnight, so are the lights. The televisions are not smart tvs; no netflix. I bought flowers for my mother and requested a vase. I was given a plastic washbucket. When the room was serviced, the bed was made, but the floor was not swept or vacuumed. The floor was sticky during her stay. The bed was advertised as a king. It is two twins pushed together with no topper. The air-conditioning was strong and the room remained cool despite warm days. The location was very convenient.

My room smelled like mold. The carpet was heavily stained. The chair was really stained. It was clean. Bathroom was very nice. I was ready to sleep in there. I know there is mold in room 3113

Property is small but well maintained and staff is responsive and helpful. Young staff but attuned to senior visitors except maybe in terms of restaurant recommendations, likely due to age and income. Of front desk, DIDI was especially helpful with transportation methods and getting some things printed for our cruise as well as general area info. Some others helped with one dinner recommendation that was excellent. We did not use any other amenities. Housekeeping was very good and c efficient and effective. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Only complaint was shower which was the size of an old fashioned phone booth and not really functional for an older adult that is not super flexible. Rubber floor mat was ill sized for shower floor pan and in fact I slipped on edge and my foot hit the pan edge and something in my leg between my knee and hip pulled from the impact. So not a great impression there, the only negative. I would likely stay again.

Loved our stay! The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel is located in a perfect area- near the water and many restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and beds comfy. Would definitely stay again
