Stretch Island Pet-friendly Vacations

Had a room on 25th floor. GREAT view of Mt. Rainier (weather permitting). Allowed access to morning breakfast and various snacks and sodas during the day. Room lacked storage space with no drawers in furniture. Room cleaning service was sketchy. We could leave our room at 10:00 AM and come back at 3:00 PM and room had not been cleaned. Three days we needed to use the “no clean” service since we wanted to use the room and it had not been cleaned. Bar did not open to 4:00 PM. Bummer !! Overnight parking is $30/day. However, it is safe parking. We have recommended this hotel to friends who will be visiting Tacoma.

Interesting old hotel in a great location. The staff was 50/50 - front desk was great for check in, but the doorman/valet on the day we checked out was not helpful and seemed like he didn't really care about the guests. Guests were pulling cars up to the curb, Uber drivers were double parking in the street, City buses were blasting the horns at everyone.... The garbage can in the lobby by the complimentary water was overflowing with garbage on the floor. WiFi was really slow and spotty. But by far the biggest issue was the fact that the bathroom was extremely small. My legs were under the sink, that's how small it was. Very uncomfortable. I'm glad I tried it, but would not return.

Restrooms smelt terrible, no vent in there which caused it to smell like mold & same for the closet a very mildew smell to it. There was no fridge in the room which was very inconvenient as well as no microwave. Having to pay for valet parking at a ridiculous price because they can’t afford to give their guest free parking. Unfortunately the stay was so terrible that we plan to never go to Seattle again or stay at any of the Hilton hotels from now on.

Overall an okay property and stay, especially for the price. Good location. Easy access from freeway. The walls are a little thin and we heard another guest in the next room snoring (earplugs were provided. lol). There was competition for the shared bathroom in the morning. The breakfast is more grab-n-go than continental. Breakfast items are not laid out except for the coffee. The room was nice and comfortable. The front walkway leading up to the house is a bit overgrown with weeds and plants making it difficult to navigate to the house with luggage going up steps. Safety issues there.

Staff was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay again.
