Southern Highlands Pet-friendly Vacations

This hotel is a lovely blend of a wonderful terraced house tastefully decorated and fitted out to simultaneously recognise the house's heritage and presenting modern amenities, the attention to style and detail was impecable. Clearly a labour of love evrything ran smoothly from introduction, to breakfast presented at our bedroom to our departure. Kelvingrove museum is ten minutes walk away and the park across the road was a delightful haven. We would not hesitate to chose this hotel should we return at a future date.

Wonderful stay, room amazing, clean, spacious & bed amazing. No traffic noise heard from 1st floor room. All in all - fabulous, already booked for another night!

Staff were very helpful. We were only there for 2 nights - we ate in the bar once and the food was very nice, though e seemed to be the only ones in the hotel at that point! The rooms themselves are in need of a refresh - certainly our bathroom looked very old and tired, but the bed was comfy and clean. Bit of noise during the night but not much the hotel can do about that. It was a 45 minute bus ride from Glasgow centre, but the bus stop was a short walk from the hotel. We flew in to Glasgow, so no car, but the car park had plenty of space.

A great place and brilliant staff, our favourite place to stay

Our room was semi clean but the carpet had not been vacuumed at all. There was tons of people's hair on it. When I mentioned this to the manager he stated that the didn't vacuum. The AC was completely out on our floor so we had to leave the windows open. There were several bars below us that dumped large amounts of glass into trash cans hourly all night long. Then the recycling trucks came at 5:30 am every day. I literallbarely got than 3 hours sleep every night it was so incredibly loud. Ot is a shame because it is a central location. I would not recommend if you want to actually get sleep.

We enjoyed 4 nights at the Yotel in Glasgow. We were initially concerned about the noise from the bars/street across from us that we could here from our 3rd floor room on the east side facing Hope street. But the noise typically died down around 10pm. The room was large and comfortable, although some of the finishes (carpet) could use replacement froms stains etc. Our mini-fridge did not work- and was disappointed they story we were told by someone at the hotel was that is wasn't a fridge- just a cooler. Nonetheless, the staff were the friendliest we've encountered. Would stay again.

Good stay

Room was spacious and clean, if a little unloved. Shower was good, and the kitchen area was fine. The view from our first floor room was... straight into the multi storey car park, overlooking the bins at the back of the bars. The noise wasn't too terrible, though it's not one for light sleepers. TV didn't really work. Staff were nice.
