Very nice and good association with a famous composer. Staff well intended but they put us in twin rooms and coukdbt fix the problem…also don’t expect a drink till 4pm as the bar is closed before then. Air conditioning is non existent - don’t buy the “we have natural climate control” answer….

Walkable from Bergen rail station (10 -15 mins) and an ideal situation next door to Bryggen. Excellent buffet breakfast provided, together with tea between 3 and 5pm and an inclusive dinner if you want it, although there are some good - albeit expensive restaurants - nearby. Would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Better than expected. Didn’t realize meals were included and they were great (we skipped dinner) Big size rooms, nice Rituals amenities, beautiful views. Loved it!
