I was pretty disappointed by our stay at the Saint Augustine Staycity Aparthotels. It's listed as 4-star hotel on Hotels.com, probably because they pressure you to rate the place immediately when you check out, and I just did not find that it lived up to that rating. The staff was friendly, but the apartment was not in great condition. There was an infestation of drain flies/gnats in the bathroom and kitchen sink, so they were dying all over the place. Luckily, we didn't need the kitchen for cooking, because that would have been quite unsanitary. The tub in the bathroom was all scuffed up and brown on the bottom, and very curved - it would be dangerous for an older person to stand there to shower. The beds were hard as rocks and strangely uneven, so I often felt like I would slide out. We booked this apartment because it came with a washer/dryer, but one load of laundry was still damp after 6 hours of washing/drying. I've used washer/dryers all over the world so I get that it's not going to be as efficient as one in the US, but this was the worst I've encountered. That said, the location was very walkable, and we did have a lot of space. It was also cheaper than a lot of places. I just kind of ended up wishing we had spent a little more money for somewhere else, because for what we spent I didn't think it was worth it.

Hotel staff were welcoming on arrival, property was clean and well taken care off, room had everything we needed. Executive suite coffee machine was not working correctly so choices were limited, told staff but wasn’t resolved in our one night stay so could use. Having to pay for parking at their own car park I thought unusual. Breakfast choice was excellent

It was a 5 star experience from start to finish, the food was excellent the staff extremely helpful would recommend to my friends to stay here. My next time in Dublin I will be staying here and only here.

Beautiful property with two golf courses and pool and spa. Have a great scrub and massage and hub enjoyed a round of golf.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. All freshly cooked. Freshly baked cakes and biscuits available alongside hot and cold drinks all day in the lounge area. Very convenient for the Dart station and walking distance of high quality restaurants. An excellent hotel. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel to anyone.
