The service and the rooms are good. However the quality of the food and variety was poor. Need to be careful as I got a stomach bug which is common in Egypt but it usually comes from local water and the drinks they use with ice are using tap water and fruit and veg is washed with tap water.

The first room we checked into was dirty and we had to change rooms. The second room was ok but we found that the heater didn’t work. We reported it, a maintenance man came up but it was never fixed. The property is nice once you get beyond the gates (that looked like you were entering a war zone). The staff was friendly but our experience was just ok.

Excellent resort with an outstanding atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The food could be improved in terms of quality, but there is a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Soma bay. The beach was absolutely excellent; perfect for swimming and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room cleanliness was top notch and “Omar” was incredible. Breakfast was outstanding service waiter was “Elsayed”. A special thank you to the manager who was exceptionally friendly and kind. The overall warm hospitality made us want to return again. Highly recommended!

It was horrible experience. The band was playing so loud that I could feel the BASS river breeding in my own chest. I was trying to get to sleep because I had to leave at 2:30 AM in the morning for an early morning flight.
Even after the music stopped just after 11 PM, there were people yelling talking, laughing walking around and you could hear everything. Walls are thin.
