The first room we checked into was dirty and we had to change rooms. The second room was ok but we found that the heater didn’t work. We reported it, a maintenance man came up but it was never fixed. The property is nice once you get beyond the gates (that looked like you were entering a war zone). The staff was friendly but our experience was just ok.

I booked four rooms at Hilton Hurghada Plaza for my family vacation for six nights in June 2026. The hotel was very nice, the beach was very clean, and the staff were wonderful. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time there.

Our 6 day stay at the Sheraton in El Gouna was nothing but AMAZING, to say the least. Everything and everyone were wonderful. From the front desk manager Mr. Mohamed Amer and his staff Amani and Mohamed, to the Oriental restaurant staff, to the room service (Ahmed), all were charming, welcoming, and extremely friendly. They all made our stay a remarkable, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
The hotel was clean so was our suite. Food was amazing and everyone was charming, friendly, and welcoming - from the all you can eat buffet, to the Oriental and Italian restaurants, to the bars at the beach and the lobby.
This is a MUST visit property and it should be a 7 star not 5.
We will definitely be back, soon.
