Very good hotel. Just disappointed that the bottled water isn’t included

The hotel, property and Staff were all 100%. The food was great and plenty of variaty to not have to have the same thing everyday. The drinks were excellent! Only problem we had is the location to anything else. The Bahamas are very expencive if you want to do anything there. And it cost $100.00 to get to the hotel, and another to get back to the airport. It cost 50-60 but kes to take a taxi to Nassau to go to any of the venues there and then the same to get back. They charge you by the person so a larger group gets no discount. The beach at the resort if amazing. So if you want to go, stay in the resort at the.pool and beach this is the place for you! If you want to explore and do outside activities, it's will cost you again what you paid for your trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Hidden Gem with Amazing Views & Hosts We had an awesome stay at A Stone's Throw Away—this place is a true hidden gem. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The views are absolutely incredible, especially overlooking the ocean—great spot to sit, unwind, and just take it all in. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Shan, Treasure, Chris, and John were all amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They genuinely made us feel at home and made the trip even better. THANK YOU! Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy, and we had zero issues during the stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The Indian restaurant on site was excellent as well. I had the Curry chicken and rice. My wife had the Penne pasta chicken. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau.

Property was nice and well maintained. Food was very expensive.

Room was clean, however we booked the cove and multiple maintenances were being done on the property. Spa was not available, the original adult pool was not available, loud drilling noises on the building balcony was being done early in the morning.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.

Enjoyable stay with disappointing experience. We stayed for 3 nights in March 2026. We enjoyed many aspects of our stay. In particular, the friendly staff, and delicious food at Ma Ruby’s. But, we had a very disappointing experience with our reservation and follow- up by the hotel manager. We made our reservation on Expedia in November, 2025. We paid for our room at that time. Upon arrival in March, we were shocked when told our reservation had not been noted. Our room was not available. Fortunately we had our confirmation information from Expedia. We were given another room and told it was an upgrade. The alternate room had a location right next to our bathroom, where staff would frequently hang out and talk. It was very awkward for us. After returning home, and investigating what had occurred, I became aware that the room we were given was not an upgrade, and actually was a lower cost than the room we paid for. I regret that this issue was not addressed by the receptionist, and that we were not compensated during our visit. I communicated with the manager, Juanita, about my concerns. I apologize for not addressing them while visiting. She responded 10 days later. Her message was friendly , she addressed my issues, and offered compensation. I thanked her, and sent our payment information. I have not received the compensation or any further follow- up from the manager, however in the 30 days after my email.

If your are looking for a fancy place this is not for you. What they don’t have is luxuries the make up for in the staff and the friendliness. I haven’t felt so relaxed at a resort like I have here I over 25 years. Kudos to the staff and kitchen. Food was excellent and drinks were great!! Highly recommend if you want a pure relaxing time. If you want pampering and luxury spaces this is not for you.
