Turkish Riviera Cheap Vacations

We booked a sea view room and upon arriving at 2pm, the staff said that the room wasn’t ready. When asked when it’ll be ready, they said anywhere between 2-6 pm. What the heck!? They did get our room ready at 2:30pm. Upon entering, we realize they gave us a room with no view without even mentioning anything about our room. We called the front desk to complain and they said they have no sea view room for us but promised to give us our sea view room tomorrow. The following day, we inquired about our sea view room and they said they don’t have it and try to promise our room the following day. We refused because we only stayed there for two days. So, they gave us a complimentary set dinner, claiming it’s worth €40 each meal. Personally, I would rather eat outside for a meal that’s twice as good and half the price and be much happier. Overall, this hotel experience had been the worst for our 16 days trip in Turkey. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as their customer service and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Selectum Colours Bodrum. The resort was lovely, staff were great, food on offer at the buffet restaurant, A La Carte restaurants and snack options were fabulous and the facilities generally were great. There were a couple of things to note. One downside to our visit was the fact that although there were plenty of sun beds there was not much in the way of shade options on the beach (it was very busy when we were there) and so we were very disappointed that the hotel did nothing to stop people placing towels to reserve their sun beds on the beds that had shade from early morning without using them for hours. Because of the lack of shade on the beach, this was an issue which they need to address. The only other recommendation I would make is if you use hair conditioner bring your own, although the shoewer gel, shampoo and body lotion were fine, the conditioner was not.

Family friendly nice clean hotel with great food. Though it's missing waterslide for the kids and a beach side bar for the adults. Overall we enjoyed the stay, rest and relaxation.

Overall an enjoyable stay! Let’s start with the good, big room my son had his own bed and we had a double. Free minibar restocked daily and tea and coffee in the room. Nice adults only pool area (16 years plus) was very quiet all week and had no issue getting a sunbed. I would say though that if you are traveling with young kids it might be a bit more challenging to get a bed at the other bigger pool during peak times, but there are a lot of sunbeds and also a private beach, with a lot of free covered sun beds there too. Good food selection in the restaurant but also a lot of Turkish food which I was not brave enough to try. There was also a grill with meat outside and a wok section where you could create your own stirfry. On our last night there was also a kebab station. Overall you will certainly find something to eat and there are also some themed restaurants where you can eat free once or pay. (Bbq, Italian, Thai) Now the not so good, the shower is over bath and not very spacious or great water pressure. We had a room near the back of the hotel on the right side, there was a partial sea view which was nice but also a not so great view down below of the rubbish dump for the hotel next door. Ask for a room as far forward as possible in the hotel, that would definitely be better! Lifeguards - Liberty please make sure all your life guards can speak at least basic English, god forbid there is an emergency and you have a life guard you cannot communicate with!

Top class restaurant Jacuzzi Steam Room Sauna Massage absolutely massive Olympic size pool beautiful garden area and lovely private beach , this is THE place to stay if you’re in Antalya. And the price was unbeatable to boot!!! Free Parking too as we were on our European Road Trip!
