The hotel was in great location and breakfast was great too. We were disappointed with the room though. For the price we paid, it was very small, there was barely any room to move around or to open our luggage. The bed was very uncomfortable too. The elevator would go up to 4th floor and our room was on the 6th floor. Anyway we enjoyed visiting Venice, but I would be careful on chosing a room next time.

This is a great hotel at the wrong side of the canal. Going from one side to the other is only a nuisance but it makes a difference. Having said that, we still like the hotel given the cost value relationship

The room was extremely small for the amount of money I paid, and the view was nothing like what I saw in the pictures. My room was all the way in the back, where you could only see part of the church. If you wanted to see the full view shown in the hotel photos, you literally had to hang out of the window. 😳 That is definitely not what I expected based on the pictures. I paid over $1,000 for only two nights, and honestly, it was not worth the hype or the price. Another issue was the service at the entrance. They only had one bellman working, which meant he had to personally take each guest and their luggage to their room. You would have to wait for him to take one guest up, come back down, and then take you. It made the process unnecessarily slow. FYI the bathroom was on 2nd floor of the room. It would have stairs and you go up and there was the bathroom. For what I paid, I expected a much better experience, a larger room, a better view, and better service. I would not recommend this hotel. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

We have stayed before and would recommend it. Very good staff, facilities and location. Near the Rialto bridge and San Marcos Square. Nice rooftop bar. Also convenient for Rialto water bus stop on the grand canal where the Allaguna water travels to and from the airport.
