Great location, clean room, kitchen has plates and bowls, but no spoons and forks.

Amazing hotel. The best in Alvor at a completely different level. Superb pool area no rushing for sunbeds and pools x 3 are amazing. Right on the beach front this place is and the most chilled experience for a holiday. Will definitely return.

My husband and I spent a part of our honeymoon at Vale Do Lobo. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We had a private apartment with a pool, which was lovely. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants, golf, and the pool area. We even went to the beach one day. The accommodations were great! They provided us with espresso for the Nespresso machine. Gave us a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. We had everything we could need at the apartment.

This hotel is in ok condition for its age however its age is definitely starting to show.

It was a wonderful experience, we loved every aspect of it! The Service was amazing, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly!

Family friendly hotel at perfect location.

From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the hotel is striking. Walking in feels like stepping into a peaceful sanctuary. Everything about the design, setting and atmosphere immediately creates a sense of serenity. The staff are wonderful and beautifully attired. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with its own private pool, and it was simply stunning. The layout and design were exceptional. Both bedrooms were beautifully done, and the bathrooms deserve a special mention; there are two, each with enormous standalone baths and huge enclosed showers. The space, design and attention to detail made the apartment feel incredibly luxurious. We visited Café Central for breakfast and lunch because we liked the peaceful vibe and found the fresh pastries, coffee, and variety of dishes to be wonderful. Sitting there quietly with a coffee was a lovely way to spend an hour of the day, and the gentleman Pedro, who works there, is absolutely charming. Overall, it has felt like a real privilege to stay at the Viceroy. It is a truly special place that combines beautiful design, outstanding service and complete tranquillity. The only problem is that you have to check out, and honestly, you won’t want to. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this stay so memorable.

Wonderful hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again! I got a tour of the facilities as soon as I arrived which I loved as it meant I didn’t have to discover things independently and wonder how things worked. The room was gorgeous, just bear in mind the toilet and shower share the same door, I didn’t mind as I was travelling solo. The food was delicious! Everything I ate tasted good from the breakfast to the lunch to the dinner, everything was tasty! The only room for improvement is the WiFi, at times it would drop if I went from my room to the pool for example but it came back minutes after so not the end of the world. I loved staying here so much and would definitely stay here again if coming to Portugal
