We were so pleased with the Hotel Monopol. Our train was delayed so we missed our connection and needed to overnight in Frankfurt. I booked the hotel and when we arrived, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and our room was huge! The hotel is older but well kept. Our room overlooked a busy street and had fans for moving cool night air into the space. There were gummy bear candies on each pillow, plenty of towels, and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary water, a soda. and a beer. Beds are comfortable and clean; the bathroom was spotless. Check out was equally easy and friendly. If we’re ever passing through Frankfurt again we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The hotel needs investment- hairdryer in the room was broken. Lots of TV stations not working. Very old fashioned decor. The hotel really needs investment

Our stay at the lake hotel was simply wonderful. The room was very spacious, cozy, and tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was excellent. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the evening meals were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the sauna, the hotel’s private beach right on the lake, and our large terrace. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.

Said they had a/c Did not work We asked for a fan the entire time(5 times a day.). No fan- no help with water nothing to help with the heat. Advertising water park with slides. Slides out of order. . The pool was sooooo crowded

The hotel was very nice. In a great location. Very nice cocktail bar. Great breakfast buffet. Staff was good. The reason for 3 stars - basically no AC. It was sooooo hot in our room we couldn’t sleep and that was even with the AC at the highest level! I would never stay here again because of that.

The Capri by Fraser is an average to above average hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean,and quiet, but overall the place needs a 'makeover'. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and very professional. One thing that I found self-serving was that you were REQUIRED to join their hospitality/loyalty program to be allowed an early check-in. Totally unnecessary. The hotel comports to be a "green" property, i.e., they don't make-up rooms daily. That was annoying because you have to make your own bed (I'm on vacation) and you have to make sure the towels get hung so they dry. They only made the room up once -- stayed for 5 nites. Had to request additional towels AND tissue. The location isn't the best, but manageable given the proximity of the busses, Trams and U. Had the breakfast buffet one morning. It was very good! Grapefruit juice was exceptional!! Would recommend a street view, such as it is. The back view is of an arena -- concrete behemoth. The a/c left a little to be desired..fortunately the had a fan available. No face clothes in the bathroom - BYO. Overall, it was a 'B'/'B+'.
