Named after the annual Hawaiian festival that celebrates the harvest, Makahiki is a feast for your senses. Dine among colourful murals created by local artists while enjoying glorious views of lush tropical foliage.

Breakfast Buffet

"Aunty's Breakfast Celebration" - Join some of your favourite Disney Characters for "Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki"! Hosted by Aunty every Tuesday thru Sunday, this family-friendly buffet is the perfect way to start your day and includes such breakfast favourites as island fruits, house-baked pastries, a carving station, Island-inspired offerings and daily specialties.

Regular breakfast buffet or à la carte menu available every Monday.

Dinner

The casual dinner buffet includes fresh local products and chef-inspired dishes. Or, order from the à la carte menu, which features some of the buffet selections, as well as popular comfort foods like steaks, burgers and country fried chicken.

The Hawaiian Language

The lounge's décor features wooden representations of common objects and labels that convey their Hawaiian names. The friendly bartenders are happy to help you refine your pronunciation of Hawaiian words. It's your chance to work on properly pronouncing humuhumunukunukuapua'a!

'AMA'AMA: Contemporary Island Cooking

Named after the 'ama'ama fish - a tasty local mullet fish frequent to Hawaiian waters, Aulani's signature restaurant features an open-aired seating section with amazing views and celebrates not only the delectable fish but also the many fishing settlements along the leeward coast dating back to the 12th century.

 

  • Breakfast - Morning specialties including omelets, island favourites, grains and freshly made bakery items.
  • Lunch - Specialty hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads and pasta.
  • Dinner - Seasonal and sustainable seafood, steak, poultry and pasta - all inspired by the islands.
  • Desserts - Delicious treats infused with local styles and flavours.

Off The Hook

An open-air, beachside lounge that resembles a fisherman's seaside shack and serves a variety of favourite drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers. Decorated with cowry-shell lures, shark-tooth knives, fishhooks and fish-shaped ku'ulo stones once used as decoys, this relaxed beachside lounge resembles a Hawaiian fisherman's seaside shack. Look for one of the extra special touches-a colourful school of fish swims above the bar!

Located next to Papalua Shave Ice in the Waikolohe Valley, Mama's Snack Stop serves poolside snacks featuring mouthwatering hot dogs, chicken strips, and more. The menu includes a choice of bread, sauce, and the type of sausage, including All-beef Hot dog, Hawaiian Winner, Portuguese sausage, or a Buffalo-Ranch Fried Chicken Strip dog. Hours of Operation - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ulu Cafe
Savour great food and scenic surroundings at this poolside venue that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner—including convenient grab-and-go selections. Order carryout meals to enjoy at the pool, or dine on the outdoor patio and behold beautiful ocean views. Hours of Operation - 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Little 'Opihi's
Satisfy your appetite with grab-and-go selections at Little 'Opihi's, located at the beach beside Makiki Joe's. Menu options include sandwiches, salads, a California roll, ice cream and fresh fruit. A keiki (children's) menu is also available. Hours of Operation - 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Wailana Pool Bar serves up refreshment from 9:00 a.m. to dusk.

Eight private cabanas provide poolside splendour for up to 6 Guests. Each offers a variety of amenities, including a 32-inch flat panel TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, WiFi, upgraded furniture, fruit bowl and complimentary bottled water.
