Beachy boardwalk fun
Enjoy ocean views and family-friendly entertainment at the Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade, the centerpiece of Myrtle Beach. Play carnival-style games, catch a summertime concert, visit Ripley’s Believe or Not! museum, shop for souvenirs at the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove, or brave a slingshot thrill ride. Don’t miss the unbeatable views from the SkyWheel, an observation wheel towering 61 meters above sea level. There’s a plethora of attractions at Broadway at the Beach, too, including WonderWorks indoor amusement park, Ripley’s Aquarium, a water park, the Pelicans minor-league baseball games, movie theaters and nightlife. Hit the greens
The beach gets golfers
With more than 80 quality courses, many designed by some of the legends of the game, Myrtle Beach is a golfer's paradise. We're often called the golf capital of the world, and it's easy to see why. One of our courses even played a pivotal role in the evolution of "Sports Illustrated," hosting the magazine's first sales conference a few weeks before the debut of its first issue in 1954. With all this history and all these choices, the only links you should travel to are the ones right here along the Grand Strand. And Myrtle Beach has over 30 mini golf courses. You can test your putt-putt skills in wildly themed courses from jungle safaris to shipwrecks.

Catch a show
Where music lovers come to play
The Myrtle Beach area has so many kinds of live entertainment it’s like Broadway with 60 miles of sandy beach! (We even have an area, over 350 acres of shopping, dining, and entertainment we call Broadway.) It all started in 1986, when Calvin Gilmore and the Carolina Opry pioneered theater in Myrtle Beach, starting our community on its way to being a hotspot for live family entertainment. Now our live shows include music — including celebrity concerts and great cover bands — dance, comedy, magic, seasonal acts, pirates, and medieval knights, some with dinner.

Savor the Lowcountry
Become a sea-foodie
With over 2,000 restaurants, your best self shines when you dine at The Beach. Enjoy beach views and live music at the many restaurants right along the waterfront. Wander over to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, you'll find yourself in the "seafood capital of South Carolina" with a string of top-notch restaurants serving up hook to plate seafood. Try international cuisines, local southern flavors, or fine dining - whatever you are in the mood for. We're big on the fun, authentic experiences that can only come from enjoying the foods you love with your favorite people. Not sure where to begin? Start at the Marshwalk.
