The main attraction will undoubtedly be tasting the Belém pastries, which are served warm, straight from the oven. We will try the delicious combination of crispy puff pastry with a creamy cream filling, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon to taste. The bakery itself has a classic 19th century Portuguese aesthetic with tiled walls and images of the Belém area in ancient times. In addition to Belém's own pastries, the bakery offers many other Portuguese delicacies such as the traditional "travesseiro" sweet from the Sintra region, cheesecakes and traditional cakes. Without a doubt, it is a remarkable gastronomic experience because to date there has not been a single tourist of mine who has tried the pastries and not loved them.

Initially built to be a fort, the tower has had many functions over the centuries. It has Manueline architecture and is also influenced by ancient Moorish architecture. The Monument to the Discoveries, located in Lisbon, Portugal, is an iconic monument that pays homage to the Portuguese Age of Discoveries of the 15th and 16th centuries. Visiting it offers a rich historical and cultural experience. The structure is shaped like a caravel, with prominent historical figures carved into its sides, including Infante Dom Henrique, navigators, cartographers, warriors, colonizers, evangelizers, chroniclers and artists. Furthermore, we will be able to admire a large marble compass rose 50 metres in diameter on the ground in front of the monument, with a world map illustrating the routes of Portuguese discoveries.
25 de Abril Bridge

This beautiful and charming bridge crosses the skyline of the city of Lisbon and it is obvious that we would not miss the opportunity to stop to appreciate it and take lots of photos. Built in 1966 and initially called Ponte Salazar, in honour of the dictator António de Oliveira Salazar. After the Carnation Revolution on April 25, 1974, which restored democracy in Portugal, the name was changed to Ponte 25 de Abril, to commemorate this historic event.
