What you can expect
You will enjoy a beautiful and peaceful ride through an esclerophyllous forest to a plateau with stunning views of the city and the magnificent peaks of the Andes Range.
The trip begins at a private farm in the Andean foothills, where our English-Spanish speaking guide will provide a safety briefing and basic instructions for riding a horse. The guide will offer an optional helmet and select a horse suitable for your weight and height. Our horses are of Chilean breed and equipped with traditional Chilean saddles. They are calm and accustomed to walking these trails.
The ride takes around 1.5 hours uphill, offering breathtaking views along the way. Once on the plateau, we will take a break for a snack and enjoy the panoramic views of the high summits, some of which are covered by glaciers on the skyline.
During this adventure, you will be surrounded by stunning landscapes, including beautiful mountains (covered with snow in winter), and have the opportunity to interact with arrieros (Chilean cowboys) and experience their unique culture.
