What you can expect

  • Walking tour to discover one of the most fascinating wetland complexes in Spain. Are you ready to walk through one of the most special corners of Cabo de Gata Natural Park? Let's go!

    Over the course of a 2-kilometer walk, we'll unveil all the secrets of a wetland designated as a Ramsar site in 1990. Did you know that these salt flats are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species? Keep your eyes peeled! We'll spot flamingos and unique birds that will make you fall even more in love with the landscape.

    We'll also share some of the most interesting facts about this natural environment, such as the hard work involved in salt extraction or the salt production process that the water from the Mediterranean Sea undergoes.

    What's more, to make the tour as comprehensive as possible, we'll make various stops so that you can admire the volcanic and salt landscape. You'll take some unforgettable photos!

    Finally, after an hour-long visit, we'll head back to the starting point and wrap up the sightseeing tour of the Cabo de Gata salt pans.
