This is one of two tours we offer, designed especially for guests who don’t want to drive our ATVs. The tour takes place in six-passenger UTVs (buggies) driven by our guides, so guests can travel in comfort, take pictures, and enjoy the ride without worrying about driving.
On this tour, we visit several places around Antigua. We start by visiting Guatemala’s first capital, where we explore the central plaza and local market.
Next, we stop in San Pedro de Las Huertas to visit the plaza and a local jade shop. The third stop is San Juan del Obispo, a village on the slopes of Agua Volcano.
Here, we visit a local chocolate factory and a local wine store that makes wine from a local fruit called nispero.
Our final stop is El Cerro de San Cristobal El Alto. This village, located near the centre of the valley, has the best bird’s-eye view of the city.
Here, we visit a local garden-to-table restaurant where you can get something to eat and drink while enjoying the view of Antigua. Once finished, we will head back to our office in Antigua.
