What you can expect

  • Ready yourself for a tour of Edinburgh's vibrant pubs, guided by one of our amazing local guides. All our guides are full of banter and knowledge, forged in the fire of Scotland's vibrant drinking culture!

Drink like a Scot and come try local craft beer, stout and whisky as well as undiscovered local venues. This experience includes a craft beer tasting, a single malt whisky, traditional pints and a final stop off in a live music venue to end… or start your night depending on how late you wish to stay out.

Come an discover where the locals drink, try what they drink an hear stories accumulated from many nights in the Scottish capital.

    Itinerary:

    1. Craft Beer Tasting
We start the night with a local craft beer tasting, over 4 different beers. Get to know each other, some history of the pubs in Edinburgh and wider Scotland.

    2. Irish vs Scottish Stout
Everyone knows Guinness, but do you know its Scottish equivalent or the long ties Edinburgh has to Ireland? Let's discuss and debate, finally choosing which one we prefer with a pint of it.

    3. Scottish Whisky Tasting and its History
Whats the difference between 'Whisky and Whisky'? What makes whisky unique from other spirits and what gives it its colour? We take a break from beer to try some whisky and learn why Scotland is crazy about this drink.

    4. Local Music Bar and Underground Vaults
We end our night at a live music venue build into the old underground vaults of Edinburgh. Following your experience a drink of choice is on us as we discuss modern Scottish pub culture and listen to some local music.
