Travel to the heart of Champagne of yesteryear at Domaine Bacchus

Located in Reuil, in the heart of the Marne Valley, Domaine Bacchus invites you to discover a unique place in Champagne: the miniature vineyard museum imagined and designed by Lydie and Arnaud, independent winegrowers passionate about their profession and the history of Champagne.
As soon as you arrive, you'll start the audio-guided tour, available in French and English, or with reading booklets offered in German and Dutch.

For about 20 minutes, you'll explore a meticulously reconstructed Champagne village with over 220 santons. The scenes, dating from 1910 to 1940, bring to life the harvest, traditional trades, local festivals, and the customs of yesteryear. Each scene tells a page of local history and pays tribute to the men and women who shaped Champagne's reputation. This immersive experience lets you understand the work of the winemaker, the complete wine cycle from vine to bottle, and the evolution of a terroir passed down from generation to generation.

After this historical and immersive discovery, you're invited to extend the visit with a tasting of a vintage from Lydie and Arnaud's vineyard. This friendly moment, indoors or outdoors depending on the weather, lets you savour the Champagne and ask all your questions about the profession of winemaker and the development of the vintages.
The tasting is tailored to your discussions and your pace, offering a genuine moment of sharing and authenticity.

This experience is perfect for families, groups of friends, history buffs, and anyone who wants to take a unique journey through time and the Champagne wine heritage. Immerse yourself in the spirit of Champagne of yesteryear and share an authentic moment with passionate winegrowers, in the heart of their estate and facing the beauty of the vineyards of the Marne Valley.
